Born 1962 in Germany, KuBO started painting at the end of the seventies with traditional drawings and oil paintings. Followed by more than 15 years of intensive research and development of inks and coating she came up with his multilayer technique working mostly on paper since end of the nineties when he first moved to Istanbul for two years before moving on to Hong Kong in 2005.

Since 2010 he splits his time between Hong Kong and Los Angeles where he initiated trans angeles, a museum show involving 12 artists from LA.
